They needn't have been over 170 local business women attended The Lunch attracted over 170 women at its last event on January 11th.
Guest speaker Eve Jardine-Young the new Principal at Cheltenham Ladies College was both inspiring and humorous in her conversation with TV host Jill Douglas.
Eve had this to say after the event:
"This was a wonderful opportunity for me to meet a great variety of local businesswomen and entrepreneurs. I was most struck by the positive and supportive atmosphere throughout the session, with interesting questions both from the floor and from Jill Douglas."

Angela Edwards, New Business Development Manager at Gloucester Rugby is the driving force behind the concept and explained that the idea for The Lunch was borne of a desire to bring together some of the fantastic businesses in the county, to create an environment where people could make new contacts and learn from other successful women.
"The resounding success of the event shows that by pulling together we can achieve great things and the diverse nature of the committee was critical in making sure that we got a cross section of the local business community engaged."
Emma Summers, the MD of Juice Recruitment who sponsored the event added:
"It was great to meet so many familiar faces and listen to Eve from The Cheltenham Ladies' College talk so passionately about her new role and her students.
"Juice is in its 13th year of business and with a team of 22 staff across 4 locations, Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham and Swindon, we are excited about 2012 - our new website and launching our new HR programme.
"As Chair of the Bath & West Wilts CIPD I know what is topical and at the forefront of HR and I am really keen to bring valuable information to businesses we work with in a way that's sociable and pleasurable.
We are therefore launching Juice HR which will be a quarterly bulletin coupled with seminars to be held at the Hotel Du Vin. Topics will include - how to conduct that perfect interview - employee engagement and how to retain the best as well as employment updates to keep us abreast of the ever changing legislation."
The Lunch also raised just under £500 for the Sponsor's chosen Charity Willow Foundation.
The next lunch takes place on Wednesday 2nd May 2012 please contact Angela Edwards to book a place angelaedwards@gloucesterrugby.co.uk
