Two second half tries from James Simpson-Daniel secured firstly the try scoring bonus point and then the victory for Gloucester Rugby over the Cardiff Blues in the LV= Cup and earned him the 1873 Club Members Man of the Match award.

The third in the quarterly women focused lunch events took place at its home at Gloucester Rugby recently.

For the second game in succession, Jonny May was the choice of the 1873 Club Members as their Man of the Match following the memorable 34-24 Heineken Cup win over Toulouse.

Winger Jonny May defied a heavy cold to score two first half tries against London Wasps on Boxing Day and help set Gloucester on their way to a 39-10 win. The 1873 Club members voted him as their Man of the Match.
