The Gloucester and England Rugby Academy has provided the first team with some of the best young players in the modern game. In recent years the Academy has seen the likes of James Simpson-Daniel, James Forrester, and Marcel Garvey come through the ranks to establish themselves as regular first team players and also earn international representative honours. Only the best young players sign up with the Gloucester Academy. Amongst the current crop of youngsters working with the Academy coaching staff are England U21, U19, U18 and student internationals.

One of the leading players in the Academy is Brad Davies. The talented fly-half has been the with Kingsholm set-up for a number of years and was the number 10 for England in the 2003 U21s World Cup. He has played for Gloucester’s first team and is a current member of the first team squad.
