Gloucester Rugby Club : Roll of Honour

The Gloucester and England Rugby Academy has provided the first team with some of the best young players in the modern game. In recent years the Academy has seen the likes of James Simpson-Daniel, James Forrester, and Marcel Garvey come through the ranks to establish themselves as regular first team players and also earn international representative honours.

Only the best young players sign up with the Gloucester Academy. Amongst the current crop of youngsters working with the Academy coaching staff are England U20s, and U18s and internationals.

Gloucester's Dan Robson retains his spot at scrum half and Elliot Stooke is named amongst the replacements as England U20 make six changes to the team that beat Scotland 59-3 for Friday night's clash against Italy in Rovigo, kick off 7.00pm.

It's been a busy few months at the Gloucester Rugby Academy and the progress made with the next generation of young players is starting to be reflected in terms of international recognition.

England Under 20 Head Coach Rob Hunter has named a strong squad ahead of his side's Six Nations opener against Scotland in Firhill on Friday, February 3 (kick off 7.30pm).
