The week long course will enable young people to learn skills from a professional rugby club, gain a sports leadership qualification, a certificate in First Aid and develop an understanding of sports nutrition.
Gary Little, Community Manager, said:
"We are pleased to be working with the Princes Trust on this great initiative. The course will be based at Kingsholm and uses the theme of sport to motivate and build skills to aid the personal development of young people and build their confidence."
Get Started fouces on improving teamwork, communication skills and building confidence and those who take part will also receive three months support from the Princes Trust to help them move into employment, education or training.
If you are between the ages of 16-25, living in Gloucestershire and into sports but out of work, then Get Started with this programme and achieve your goals.
The programme runs from the 28th October until the 1st November 2013 at Kingsholm Stadium. To find out more, please contact Louise Hawkes on 07415 611 643 or email email@example.com.
All young people recruited must demonstrate readiness for the programme and a commitment to work with the Princes Trust and develop their skills towards further education, training, or employment
