This year was no different. All the squad contributed and, one frantic shopping spree later, several bags of present, for all ages, were whizzing their way to the Childrens' Ward.
Ryan Mills and Dan Robson were amongst the more enthusiastic participants, and spent considerable time making sure that the presents were neatly wrapped and labeled.
"We all love Christmas, and it's really tough for children to be stuck in hospital at this special time of year.
"It's something we've been doing for a few years now, but we all put money into a kitty so that we can buy a load of presents and hopefully help cheer the children up.
"It's fun choosing the presents, and even doing the wrapping. And knowing that we're going to cheer someone up makes it worthwhile."
Thanks also to Boots at Quedgeley who also provided some gifts on top of what the squad purchased.
