The Gloucester Rugby Community programme includes, schools coaching, match day activities, school educational visits, premier rugby camps, junior talent development programmes, club master-class sessions and touch rugby leagues.

Community projects are delivered across each district within Gloucestershire (Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Forest of Dean and the Cotswolds) in addition to project delivery in Swindon and Wiltshire, Herefordshire and Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.

The majority of projects focus on young people and their engagement in rugby as a sport and the associated benefits of a physically active and healthy lifestyle.

The Community team frequently accept invitations to attend public, charitable and educational events, where attendance alone can significantly boost fundraising and aid the delivery of positive messages and profile for the organisation. Events include Three Counties Show, local authority community events, school and club tournaments among many others.

The Gloucester Rugby Community projects have recieved much positive feedback which is indicative of the positive effect the community work has. Much of the Community work is self funded and put back into the programme with many projects having added value by our players who donate their time free of charge.
