In a thriller at Kingsholm, Gloucester and Newcastle shared nine tries and 82 points, the Cherry and Whites producing a sensational comeback to overturn a 17 point deficit and edge a 42-40 victory.
Gloucester Rugby through its Community initiatives has developed a set of educational programmes. These programmes use the unique ability of rugby, the rugby club itself, its brand, professional players and the stadium as a vehicle in which to support the education of young people.
We offer outreach educational sessions that can be delivered at a school to a specific class or whole school assemblies. Also we have created a classroom at Kingsholm, which we call the TRY CENTRE. This provides a vibrant, exciting and stimulating place for young people to learn within the stadium.
