Gloucester Rugby in the Community
Friends of Gloucester Rugby in the Community

In recent years by working with and creating partnerships with public and private organisations the community work of the club now extends to the promotion of health and well-being, social inclusion projects, raising young people's attainment levels through educational programmes and projects that help support community cohesion.

Our projects have received much positive feedback which is indicative of the positive effect that community work has. All our projects are self-funding with any monies raised put back in to the delivery a variety of initiatives. The challenge is to secure sufficient funding to sustain and develop projects to meet the needs of our local community.

We wish to continue to grow and develop and to do so we need additional support. We require public sector and private sector partners. By investing in us we can reach a specifically targeted group, fulfil Corporate Social Responsibility, add fulfilment and activation to existing sponsorship, expose a brand and make a difference to the community in which you do business.

The 'Friends of Gloucester Rugby in the Community' scheme aims to encourage community conscious organisations to become involved with our community projects. Renishaw PLC, Ecclesiastical Insurance and Rickerbys LLP are a growing list of locally based companies who are supporting Gloucester Rugby in the Community. The Mears Group and Lex Auto Lease have also offered their support by providing a minibus for community activities.

We would like to invite more local businesses to become Friends of Gloucester Rugby in the Community and help us make a difference to the lives of many young people across Gloucestershire and make a difference to the community in which you do business.

To sign up and become a Friend of Gloucester Rugby in the Community and help make a positive impact on young people's lives, please contact Gary Little, Community Manager 01452 872277 or email garylittle@gloucesterrugby.co.uk
