EPCR confirmed on Wednesday morning that Gloucester Rugby will play at home in the first play-off fixture for the 20th spot in next season's European Rugby Champions Cup.
The EDF Energy U14s Schools Cup is an annual competition open to all schools across Gloucestershire. It is a straight knockout competition with the final held at Kingsholm Stadium. The winners receive the EDF Energy Cup and £500 prize money and runners up receive £250.
It is an open invitation for schools to enter the competition and a draw is held in September. First round fixtures are then scheduled for October and the competition runs throughout the season with the final held at Kingsholm in March.
Bob Fenton, Head of Communications, EDF Energy, said, 'We have a proud record of supporting grassroots rugby and we are pleased to continue to support Gloucester Rugby Community and this tournament. This is a great competition for schools across Gloucestershire and we wish them well as they battle it out for a chance to play at Kingsholm.'
