Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup

The Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup is a ground-breaking nationwide grassroots tournament for under 11s and under 12s, which is now in its fifth year. The tournament aims to inspire youngsters in the sport to be like their rugby heroes and Land Rover has already enabled more than 30,000 children to take part over the last four years.

Each Premiership Rugby Club, as well as Newcastle Falcons, will host a rugby festival during the 2012-13 season with age group winners from each of the 13 regional festivals being crowned Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup champions. Professional players from the Premiership Rugby Clubs will attend the regional festivals, to present trophies and sign autographs.

The Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup, in the Gloucester region organised by Gloucester Rugby Community, was scheduled to take place in November but due to poor weather it was cancelled. It will know take place on Sunday 7th April at Rendcomb College, Nr Cirencester.

Gloucester's Mike Tindall, has confirmed he will be one of those offering encouragement to all taking part and will be presenting the cup winner trophies. The two winning sides will be rewarded with a very special place on the Land Rover Parade of Champions, which will see the youngsters parading in front of a sell-out Twickenham crowd at the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final in May.
