Gloucester Rugby Community Department are pleased to announce a brand new partnership with EDF Energy which will see the return of the schools U14's rugby tournament. The tournament is open to every secondary school in Gloucestershire and aims to provide a fantastic tournament for all participants.

The tournament is a straight knock out competition which will finish with a grand finale at Kingsholm with the winners taking home the EDF Energy Cup trophy and a £500 cash prize and the runners up will receive £250.

The draw for the first round is due to take place on September 19^th from 6pm onwards with the preliminary rounds kicking off between October and February at schools across the County. Gloucester Rugby are extremely delighted to be working in partnership with EDF Energy on this scheme.

"We are keen to support our local community and as one of the largest local employers in the area with over 1600 people at our Barnwood site we are sure to have many people working there with young relatives taking part in the tournament."
