I'm looking forward to seeing him in a Gloucester Rugby shirt next season. I'm also looking forward to Travis's latest update.

Think he may be the serial poster, just shows what he could do if he wanted to. Apologies if I'm wrong.

Really?

He's been a member under that name since 2006, has over 200 posts under the same name and was doing a great job keeping track of all the comings and goings.

Seems odd behaviour for a troll! :smt017

It does seem odd but then again there are a lot of troll like comments backing up travis or agreeing with his point of view (some with 200+ posts) which would suggest a link between the two or hopefully coincidence.

Apart from Locke and Cowan recently any one got any leads on any future signings? or is it all dead untill new coaches have been organised?

Andy Long, and I think from what Brush said before legging it that we are expecting another back (either winger or utility) to be announced... at least he said a hooker and a utility back I recall. Long was announced so... just a guess mind.

Updated On Behalf of Travis following the confirmed signing of Jimmy Cowan and Andy Long.

Travis, I hope you are not upset by me stealing your thread (unless there is a troll relationship; sincerely hope not!) Please do not take it as an offence, I just thought to help.

The following 31 senior squad players are under contract for the 2012/13 season (as shown by the hyperlinks to the announcements of their contracts or via confirmation from an alternative source):
Prop
Nick Wood (EQ)
Rupert Harden (EQ)
Dario Chistolini (The Citizen does NOT list him as an out of contract player.)
Dan Murphy (EQ) (The Citizen confirms he signed a 2 year contract.)
Shaun Knight (EQ)
Hooker
Darren Dawidiuk (EQ)
Huia Edmonds New signing, most recently with the Brumbies.
Andy Long New Signing from Northampton on a 1 year deal

Alex Brown (EQ)
Will James
Jim Hamilton
Back Row
Andy Hazell (EQ) (BBC Sport confirms he signed a 2 year contract.)
Peter Buxton (EQ)
Akapusi Qera
Matt Cox (EQ)
Ben Morgan (EQ) New signing from The Scarlets
Sione Kalamafoni (EQ) New signing from Nottingham Rugby
Scrum Half
Dave Lewis (EQ)
Jimmy Cowan New signing from The Highlanders
Fly Half
Freddie Burns (EQ)
Tim Taylor (EQ)
Centre
Tim Molenaar
Henry Trinder (EQ)
Billy Twelvetrees (EQ) New signing from Leicester Tigers
Ryan Mills (EQ) Stepping up from the academy.
Drew Locke (EQ) New signing from Cornish Pirates
Wing
James Simpson-Daniel (EQ)
Charlie Sharples (EQ)
Jonny May (EQ) (BBC Sport confirms he signed a 2 year contract.)
Full Back
Olly Morgan (EQ)
Martyn Thomas New signing from Newport Gwent Dragons

The following players have not been offered new contracts. It has not been made clear that they are moving and it is possible that the new coach/DOR will offer some of these players a place for next season.
Matias Cortese (BBC website gives details of players not offered a new contract)
Brett Deacon (EQ) (BBC website gives details of players not offered a new contract)
Rory Lawson (BBC website gives details of players not offered a new contract)
Mike Tindall (EQ) (BBC website gives details of players not offered a new contract)
Nick Runciman (EQ) (BBC website gives details of players not offered a new contract)
Ollie Phillips (EQ) (BBC website gives details of players not offered a new contract)
Tom Voyce (EQ) (The Citizen Tom Voyce: I'm departing Gloucester with no regrets)

Yann Thomas is not included in the published list of players leaving (above) and it is therefore not presently clear whether he is staying or leaving.
Yann Thomas (EQ)

The following player has left the club:
Lesley Vainikolo (EQ) Signed for La Rochelle

The following players will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
Alasdair Strokosch Signed for Perpignan
Scott Lawson Signed for London Irish
Luke Narraway (EQ) Signed for Perpignan
Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu Signed for Coca Cola West Red Sparks

Notes
(EQ) = England Qualified (important for RFU payments).
- Kiwi Tim Molenaar may be EQ on residency grounds (joined Nottingham in 2004). Due to his ancestry, he is also a Dutch passport holder so he can not be classed an overseas player.

Is Yann not an academy player still? not sure - he looks like he's gonna be a useful squad player in the future - he always looks like he enjoys himself when he gets on the pitch. Likewise I expect to see robson as 3rd choice scrum half but obviously is still academy status.

It looks like we need another lock as well as another winger (not happy with only having 3 of each when two are needed on the pitch) or are we gonna be relying on the likes of savage and markham to fill in the gaps?

Yann is listed as a full squad member on the website (http://www.gloucesterrugby.co.uk/rugby/squad.php) but I agree he does get amongst it and should be a reliable In future.

I also feel we are stretched at lock (4&5 that is... not Drew...) and although bucko does a good job as cover I'd rather have him at 6 and have a specialist in the second row. I also think neither James or Brown have been great this year and would rather have another reliable second row to partner big Jim.

Just for info, Dave King's web page gives the contract expiry year for each player in the squad, where known.
