Interesting to see if he starts or whether he will be back up for Master Farrell and have a 10 min cameo.

Forgive my cynicism but does anyone else think he might not even make the bench? Farrel and that young bolter Hodgeson to share the 10 jersey and Freddie to hold tackle bags whilst "learning from the experience" of time with the squad.

We all know he's not the finished article but I hope I'm wrong and he gets some time on the pitch to get a feel for the international arena as it has the potential to improve him as a player.

Here's the 'Happy Clappy' again. You're right Stand, he's not the finished article because he's had to contend with Rory's 'pass.' Give him a season on the end of Cowan's pass and we'll see just how good he is.

No argument from this quarter but I would suggest he needs to improve his decision making to move to the next level. The really good 10's have a sixth sense when it's 'on' and when to take the safe option. Freddie has all of he skills and has the great attribute of looking like he has time ( he might well look like he has even more at he end of Cowans pass) but still makes tactical errors.

Any experience with good players is bound to sharpen the process.
