In the live text from All Blacks / Ireland as cover for winger George Lowe, returning with an ankle injury. Great experience for him, we just don't want him broken please 'Boks

A boot for JM, and a boost for all our players; showing that you will get noticed by England even if you play for Glaws.

I reckon he's already got a boot, Dunc ...

Good luck to the lad ... just getting the experience of being in the international squad will help - if he gets on the pitch other than to hold a tackle, that's a bonus ... so long as they return him unbroken, bien sur ...

With another of his upfield/crossfield rocket paced runs he must have thought he was back home playing against Harlequins. Even the South African crowd seemed to be hoping he would reach the try line. It would have eclipsed his "try of the season" if he had not been pulled down short. Never mind , two well taken short range tries did his cause no harm

What a conclusion to an incredible season for him! Here's hoping there's no second season malaise. He has truly amazing pace!

Some nice quotes in the media for Jonny May's scrapbook (thanks to KSM for their update #1383)

DAILY TELEGRAPH / Mick Cleary
"an eye-catching two-try cameo from the recent arrival on tour, Gloucester’s Jonny May"
"May came on for Monye and made a real mark. The Gloucester back has got real gas"
"Abendanon ... benefiting from sharp work by Jonny May for his third"

INDEPENDENT / Chris Hewett
"Happily, there was some real gas available to England, much of it from Gloucester's Jonny May"

THE SUN / Matt Moore
"Head coach Stuart Lancaster said: I’m pleased with Jonny May"

AFP / David Legge
"I thought Jonny May was outstanding said Abendanon"
"... England captain and lock George Robson, The game could have gone either way until Jonny (May) scored those tries"

Looks as though he's taken his opportunity really well, but not on the bench for the final game. What a great experience for him.

Go Johnny Go! (Does that need some music to it?)
