the only real problem area I believe is aorund Stroud, otherwise all roads are well gritted and traffic is flowing normally :D

All today is fine in built up areas.

Took me four hours to get from stroud to chelt last night, it got very hairy. Stick to low ground and you'll be fine. Places like birdlip and the surrounding top of valleys were a real no go last night

would love to know if that gsxr1000 bike ever got home alive he was having a whale of a time in the snow

mine stays in the garage in this wether!! Its a no contest inroad conditions like that - bike safely locked up, out comes the car :shock:

Try and stay away from Bristol road. The bridge into Hempsted is closed and the traffic on the already busy Bristol Road is just ridiculous.

In terms of weather, the roads around the city centre are fine but i gather the valleys are struggling.
