Hello, I know i'm leaving myself open to abuse but I hope it doesn't go down that path. A friend of mine has just had a baby boy. As well as being a Glos supporter, strangely, he also supports Liverpool FC (here's where the abuse starts) anyway, the baby does not yet have a name. His wife has ideas on some names, however my mate has others namely 'Gerrard.' Not a great name i admitt. So why do i write this? Well they have set up this website where you just click a button to vote, unfortunatly wifey has been cheating and has somehow got some internet wizkid to fix the votes by voting more times then they should. Please help and stop wifey getting her way (as they always do) and vote for Gerrard. This is not a question of football this is a quest of standing up to and stopping the girls always getting their way, and it will be very funny to see someone called Gerrard. C'mon you glos fans help us out. If anything the site is mildly amusing.

Thanks for your time

Given the choices, I voted for Matthew!
Poor kid indeed!

I would have thought your mate, being a Liverpool fan, would have chosen other names, associated with true Liverpool legends such as SHANKLY PAISLEY DALGLISH, but definately not Gary (Neville) odious little toad, or Alex (Ferguson). If the baby is a little hard nut, how about Tommy (Smith)?

Chris :D

VINNE JONES? Don't make me laugh :D He wasn't hard, he just thought he was. Tommy Smith would have eaten him alive and then spit him out. That goes for other hard men such as Norman Hunter Ron Harris and the like.

Chris :)

I feel sorry for the kid but it could be worse. Daddy's favourite player could have been Bruce Grobbelaar!!

Regarding the Vinnie Jones arguement. There were hard men, then there was TOMMY SMITH.
