Just wondered who was planning on making the big trip up to Newcastle for the 13th April?
I'm going for the full weekend, up on friday and back on sunday.
Going by train hopefully.

Anyone else going? How you travelling? How long you staying?

I would like to go, but that close to Christmas, the other half is saying she can't
possibly! I'm still working on our usual travelling companions! Just for good measure,
we're having our work Christmas 'do' on Friday 21st, but, it is in Bristol so I could slip
down to the airport on Saturday morning and catch the early flight. Shame about
the timing, I has a great time last season. You'd think the fixtures computer would be programmed to make games as local as possible over the Christmas and New Year
period.

Won't train fares be astronomical that close to Christmas? At the time of writing, the
air fare is £30 up and £18 back including tax etc.

I'm thinking I'll do as I promised never to again, and drive up and back in a day.
I've had a weekend there for the past two years and it's been great, but I just can't afford the expense/time off this time around.

Pete, I'll look out for you and the Brockworth guys then.
I'm still driving up, but am going to stay the Saturday night again.
There's two of us in the car so far, and maybe another two, but I'll say if there's going to be space Remoulds.

Try this one:

http://www.premiereclasse.com/en/default.aspx

Type Bourgoin in the city name, dates etc. These are a motel group - basic but clean.

The hotel is about 4 miles outside of Bourgoin so not too far for taxis.

Thanks - I'll give them a try {or a drop goal!}.

Are you going to this one?

Jim, thanks for your suggestion for the Bourgoin hotel, I have booked up at that
hotel and booked reasonably prices flights with Air France from Birmingham.

A bunch of us have long since booked up Ulster, we are staying at the
Ravenhill Guest House.
