As we know it's just been announced on the website. Noty a huge increase I don't think from last year but a year is a long time!

My only problem is signing away the best part of a grande for 2 Gold STs when we don't know who the coaching team will be. Does anyone else have a similar opionion or should I just stump up!

I think you should just stump up Wynn... :smt023

That said, will it really matter who it is?? I'll still be getting mine, and if you are a true supporter, so will you!

Only joking, 1 grand is a lot of money in anyones book!

We all recall the deadline being extended during the end of the Dean Ryan reign. Tom didn't expect us to commit until the end of the review that got rid of him. I am hoping that there will be similar understanding this time. I think that's only fair to supporters. It's not a one way street surely.

Being a Glaws supporter means you enjoy the highs and suffer the lows in equal measure, we will be there whoever is coach. :smt023

Let's see how the team perform at L Irish, with or without any new DoR or coaching staff.

If they make it 6 straight loses in a row, then there may be reason to delay S/T renewal until the top team is appointed.

I agree.

I also think it’s disappointing that there has been an increase, although relatively small, when we haven’t got HC rugby. Would also be nice to have more of a loyalty discount for us regularly renewing ST holders, rather than just a tenner off.

Jlord I have been attending The Holm since 1984 so I would hope that I am considered a Glaws supporter. Of course ticket prices have jumped considerably since then and not just inflation but more that awful word professionalism setting in.

It would be nice if those of us in seats could be afforded the same deadline as the Shed which would give us all a lot more breathing space.

Just received the new brochure - very nice and shiny it is too.

One slight concern. In the starting blurb Ben Morgan and Jimmy Cowan get mentions but not Billy Twelvetrees and on the centre pages there are photographs and quotes from Cowan, Edmonds, Kalamafoni and Morgan. Twelvetrees is fleetingly listed in the 'also rans.'

I'm probably worrying about nothing.

purely pragmatically 36 has burned his bridges with Leicester and the majority of premiership teams have allocated most of their budget. if he has aspirations of playing for England which I'm guessing he does he needs to be playing in the prem and so isn't likely to enact a get out clause with Glaws unless he has a certain offer of first team rugby elsewhere, Heineken or no Heineken. My guess is that 36 was announced such a long time ago that he isn't seen as big news now, which is an underestimate in my opinion... Cant wait to see how he and Henry get on in the centers next season.

"I'm probably worrying about nothing."

Yes I think you are. :smt002

The four guys who get the big photo spread in the brochure are all internationals, with NZ, Australia, Tonga, and England.
Of the other five newbies mentioned on that page only Andy Long is an international.
So far Twelvetrees' international career has only been with the Saxons.

And yet he is probably the most ambitious signing......him and the open side, the full back, the second row etc etc that we really need.

Anyone know how ST sales are going?

I wonder if most people are hanging on until the new DOR and Backs Coach are announced.

I see one new coach has been announced this morning :-
“Paddy Anson named new Head of Strength & Conditioning”

... I wish!

Doesn't seem likely from his comments though

"It's much more about hitting the season in good form, playing with the ambition we have done in the second season, and making sure we carry on that transition...
It's about becoming a team that is playing desperately to win because we do see ambitious things down the line for us as a club and as individuals."

seems like he has more to prove down the M5.
