So then people, lets have your thoughts on the game, but let's try and keep away from the school playground comments please!

As I have already posted elsewhere, I think that Peter Richards was one of the few English players to have shone. He suffered nothing in comparison to Gregan and his service was crisp despite playing behind an outmuscled pack. He did not appear to be looking for the break as often as he usually does. Perhaps he was acting under orders ! Maybe Balshaw should have made just that bit more effort to ground the ball for a try.
It appears very obvious that at top level JSD is a much better allround rubgy player than Varndell.
Perhaps Robinson should have been bold enough to take along a couple of the Gloucester youngsters after all. At least it would have given the Kingsholm faithfull something to interest them next weekend.
Next season is a long time to wait for some decent rugby.

In other words, England aren't good enough.

i thought the First half was quite a good performance, but then australia jsut took over the game! they looked a strong side. as for england im not sure, poor performances from Tom Varndell and Tom Voyce i thought.

I didn't think we played too badly.
As said before poor performances from Vocye and Varndell but IMO I don't think Varndell is international level yet. If he goes away and works on his defence then maybe.
Richards was top class, think Ellis may have some competition to keep his starting spot.
See how the second test goes.

I think he is doing a marvellous job. He would be doing even better if he dropped Richards and Balshaw, and forgot about our other players.
