One of the goals of Gloucestershire Forwards is to create an inclusive forum for all Gloucestershire businesses to work together, finding solutions for present day issues experienced, whilst supporting community and charitable work across the county.

This will be recognised through direct fundraising for charities, and at each event offering a charitable or community representative the opportunity to promote their work and projects. A charitable donation will be made from the proceeds of ticket sales and beyond the first event. This will go to different charities and projects across Gloucestershire;

The next event will be held at Kingsholm Stadium, on the Tuesday 6 February. This shall be a business breakfast with a twist, and will be the first in a calendar of networking events.

Keep an eye on all club channels for the itinerary for the event, as well as how you can take part in the exciting 15-to-1 networking session throughout the morning.

Tickets can be booked via Gloucester Rugby before 5pm on Thursday 1 February online or call 0871 871 8781 - Option 2*.

Commercial Director of Gloucester Rugby, Mike Turner commented:

"We are delighted to be one of the founding partners of Gloucestershire Forwards and the intention of this new organisation is to develop an inclusive forum to connect businesses across Gloucestershire alongside community projects and charitable partners. We look forward to welcoming people to Kingsholm for our first event on 3rd October."

Claire Thayer from the Association of Gloucestershire Business Groups (AGBG) stated that:

"The association is passionate about our towns and our micro businesses right across the county, this partnership will enable us to promote the benefits of collaboration - together we are stronger. "

Going forward from this we will invite businesses to become members of Gloucestershire Forwards, from which they will receive great benefits.
