StubHub has a number of partnerships in place including global entertainment business AEG and The O2, alongside leading sports rights holders across Premier League football, Premiership rugby, tennis and horse racing.
The new partnership with Gloucester Rugby means that StubHub will be the club's Official Ticket Marketplace, enabling season ticket holders to have the ability to list and sell their tickets for home games they cannot attend.
Every purchase made through the site is backed by StubHub's comprehensive FanProtect Guarantee. As a true ticket marketplace, StubHub does not own, price or purchase any tickets listed on the site.
The agreement also includes shirt branding, with StubHub's logo positioned on the back of the first team shirts. This will be StubHub's third official Premiership rugby club partnership in the UK and ninth sports rights holder partnership in total.
As well as providing Gloucester supporters with a best in class customer service experience, StubHub is able to offer access to the best in sports, music and live entertainment events across the UK and Europe.
Nick Harford, Director of Partnerships, International at StubHub said:
"Extending our official presence in rugby is an important focus for us in the UK. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Gloucester from the 13/14 season and look forward to providing season ticket holders and supporters alike with a safe and secure platform to sell and buy home match tickets, alongside activating the agreement more widely."
Gloucester Rugby Commercial Manager Mike Turner said:
"Gloucester Rugby are delighted to be in partnership with StubHub, and join the sports fraternity already making the most of the StubHub marketplace."
"Not only will the partnership help increase the profiles of both Gloucester Rugby and StubHub, it will also add value to all Gloucester Rugby season ticket packages, while allowing even more supporters of all ages the opportunity to experience the unique Kingsholm atmosphere and revel in more great Gloucester Rugby triumphs."
