Hosted by Captain Ben Woolf and his men, the young academy prospects prepared physically and tactically for the challenges that lie ahead this season.
Three tough days of training culminated in a return home for the Premiership 7's at Kingsholm where fellow squad member Ollie Thorley was part of the Gloucester Rugby team that triumphed on the night and qualified for the finals.
The group have a tough pre season with fixtures against Yorkshire Carnegie at home on the 16th of August, before travelling to Harlequins on the 21st and capping it off with the U18 Academies festival at Bristol Grammar School on Saturday 30th.
This will provide the best possible preparation for an exciting opening U18 Premiership Academy League encounter with Leicester Tigers in October.
Assistant Academy Manager Simon Lane is looking forward to the forthcoming campaign as he told the club website.
"We have a very talented group this year and are looking to continue to build on last season's success both in terms of international representatives and the way in which we acquitted ourselves in the U18 League, losing just one fixture all season.
"Spending this time together is important for players and coaches and will help us to hit the ground running in the new season."
