Connecting Gloucestershire event to be hosted at Kingsholm

'Connecting Gloucestershire' is the inaugural event bringing together community-minded business leaders with key figures from the county's voluntary and community sectors.
'Bringing together businesses and communities to help Gloucestershire thrive'
The event is organised by Business in the Community in partnership with Gloucester Rugby and sponsored by Gloucestershire VCS Alliance and Gloucestershire Environmental Trust.
It will take place at Kingsholm Stadium on Wednesday 8th October.
Connecting Gloucestershire will showcase some of the best and brightest examples of cross-sector partnerships and connections. Keynote speakers will include Richard Graham MP, Mark Gale, CEO, Gloucestershire Gateway Trust and Sarah Dunning of Westmorland Ltd, who will talk about the innovative charity/business partnership that drove the creation of the M5 Gloucester Gateway Services.
Organisations including Renishaw, Commercial Group, Lloyds Bank and Gloucester Rugby will share examples of successful community partnerships and sustainable working. There will also be tailored seminars on practical ways to make the most of corporate partnerships and collaborative working.
Open to businesses who share a desire to promote opportunity, tackle disadvantage and make Gloucestershire an even greater place to live, work and do business.
Summer signing Matt Scott met with the local media for the first time this week and said that he's settling in well at Gloucester, that hopes are high for the forthcoming season and that skipper Greig Laidlaw had done a good sales pitch when it came to him signing!
Olly Morgan is heading up Gloucester's Singha Premiership 7s once again this summer and, with the start of the tournament just around the corner, he's looking for some of the club's younger players to make the most of the playing time and the exposure it offers.

Gloucester Rugby bowed out of the 2016 Singha Premiership Rugby 7s series at the pool stages as they finished in third place behind Harlequins and Northampton Saints at Franklin's Gardens on Friday evening.
The Singha Premiership Rugby Sevens is a tournament that has been good for the Cherry and Whites in recent years, but on Friday night, they found their opposition too hot to handle, finishing with one win from their three games in Northampton.
