The Cycle Challenge will take place at Kingsholm on Friday 21st November, whereby as many people as possible are invited to cycle one mile on a static exercise bike. The challenge is to see how far we can travel during the day.
The challenge will begin at 10am and run throughout the day finishing just before 7.45pm, when Gloucester take on Bristol in the Guniness Premiership. Each person taking part will obtain their own sponsorship or asked to donate a minimum of £5. Sponsorship forms can be obtained by contacting the community department.
Gary Little, Community Manager, said, 'We would like to encourage as many people as possible to join us in raising money for this great cause. Although the main Children in Need event takes place on the 14th Nov we are inviting our supporters to join us prior to our game against Bristol on the 21st to raise as much as we can.'
Those wanting to take part are invited to just turn up at the stadium anytime throughout the day and cycle their mile. Players will be taking part and therefore there is a good chance you could be riding alongside one of your heros. Get together with friends or work colleagues and support us.
