"I was pleased with the performance although I thought we were a bit flat in the second half, we just really didn't get going."
"In the first half we had some good pressure, we were active and busy and capitalised on any turnovers."
"So, in a general sense, I was pretty happy with it. We made some changes from last week, picked up some knocks. Some of the young kids like Trinder and May came through well as did Davey Lewis at 9."
"We didn't perform as well last year when we played away from home and we didn't grind out wins. We defended for probably 30 minutes there in the second half and didn't leak another score."
"Yes, we were fortunate that the ball hit the post when we were down to 14 but, on the whole, I'm pretty happy although the real results start in two weeks for us so I'm not getting too excited."
It was pointed out that the Ospreys, despite naming a strong line up, were still missing quite a few big names?
"They had a lot of players away and I'm sure they trained with that group of players coming into this game. Dan Biggar coming on for them makes a bit of a difference, steadying the ship."
"I'm sure they've found out a bit about some of their younger players today. In general terms, I'm sure they'll be reasonably happy with some of it but disappointed with the scores from the turnovers."
Gloucester's defence caught the eye throughout the game but Redpath felt that Jamie Nutbrown's first half try could have been avoided.
"We had Hazell down off the lineout and the nine went through the hole where he should have been. We didn't adapt quickly enough to that and fill in. But, outside of that, in the first half I wouldn't have said that there were that many issues for us."
"In the second half, we lost our way a little bit and I was more bothered about that. To be a better side we have to be stronger in finishing things off and we didn't really get going."
"But we had a lot of good things and some things to work on which is good because we need to be hard on each other going into Munster next Friday and then Exeter when the league starts."
"But, being away from home, and conceding seven in the first half and seven in the second isn't a bad shout particularly when we could have taken points by kicking at goal but chose not to."
