After a quick bite to eat to recharge their batteries (!), Big Les manned the grill, Eli took orders at the till, Tim Taylor sold raffle tickets, Tim Molenaar waited tables and Semi Tadulala met customers and showed them to their tables.
All the players rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in and really enjoyed the evening which involved meeting a number of Gloucester Rugby supporters, posing for photographs and signing autographs.
James Scott, the Nando's restaurant manager, declared the evening a real success:
"The players were absolutely brilliant. We know most of them quite well as they pop in quite regularly to eat but I was really impressed with the enthusiasm they showed on the night."
"Lesley is the self proclaimed 'King of the Grill' and did a great job cooking the chicken but I have to say that all the other lads were absolutely brilliant as well and the customers loved seeing them there."
