To cater for different levels there will be an A and B section and four groups of four teams will play on a league basis over three days. The winning teams will proceed to a semi final playoff and there are eight trophies to be won in total.

"This is a unique and historic tournament which, for the first time ever, allows some of the top rugby schools in the country to play competitively against top class opposition from other rugby unions."

"Topflight Sports for Schools, are Ireland's largest Ski for Schools Tour Operator, and also offer schools a wide range of sports trips and tours, incorporating activities including rugby, hockey, basketball and netball in numerous locations, throughout Europe and further afield".
Gary Little, Community Manager, Gloucester Rugby, expressed the views of the club when he confirmed that:
"Gloucester Rugby are proud to be involved in this prestigious international schools rugby event. It promises to be a well contested tournament with so many promising young players from each of the nations demonstrating and putting their skills and abilities to the test."
