Gary Little, Gloucester Rugby's Community Manager, said:
"The programme aims to encourage young people to think about adopting a healthy lifestyle from an early age. We promote simple messages about eating a well balanced diet and being active."
"It has been well received by all the schools taking part. The players took time out from a busy training schedule to visit the schools and see what the kids have been up to."
"The players were fantastic not only did they help reinforce some of the key message of what it takes to remain fit and healthy but they also mucked in with the lessons helping kids to make healthy nutritious sandwiches and then led some of the activities."
