However, the relationship between the two parties goes back much further than that, as Allcooper CEO, Roman Cooper explains:
"The whole Cooper family have been coming to watch Gloucester play since I was a boy and it feels like a home-from-home for us. So, when the opportunity to assist the club with its site safety arose; we jumped at the chance.
"Having proved our capabilities with a steady flow of smaller projects, when the extension and redevelopment of the stadium got the go-ahead in 2006, we were the first in line to consult on the fire protection and electronic security aspects and I'm proud to say that we now exclusively look after those needs for the whole of Kingsholm.
"Alongside this, we have developed our relationship with the Gloucester Rugby staff through membership of the 1873 Club, pitch-side advertising and sponsorship of the stewards' jackets. We always receive a warm welcome from the moment we set foot in the door and everyone involved goes out of their way to make it a first-class experience for us and our guests."
Recognising that there was a desire on the parts of both Allcooper and Gloucester Rugby to set the association in stone and reap the mutual benefits, early in the season negotiations took place and a deal was reached for Allcooper to become an Official Partner of the club.
Like Gloucester Rugby, Allcooper's roots are in the historic city, with founders Gary Cooper and son, Gerard setting up the business from their Gloucester home in 1987.
