In pool 5 of the competition, Gloucester have been drawn to face SU Agen Lot-et-Garonne, Femi CZ Rugby Rovigo and Atlantique Stade Rochelais.
Gloucester last faced Agen in the 2006-7 Heineken when the French side emerged triumphant in both fixtures with a certain Rupeni Caucaunibuca setting Kingsholm alight in the first fixture.
Gloucester have also taken on La Rochelle before in European competition, in the European Challenge Cup as it was then known, back in 2001-2 and won both legs in reasonable comfort.
