Qera brings fantastic footwork and a love to counter attack to any side he represents. In his last season at Pertemps he scored a mammoth 16 tries in National League Division 1 and, during his debut season at Gloucester, he continued his devastating try scoring record by adding a total of 8 tries in 22 appearances.
His 2008-9 season was curtailed by a knee injury suffered whilst on international duty with Fiji and he was limited to just six appearances for Gloucester.
However, he has bounced back in style in 2009-10 and scored his Gloucester's first try of the decade against Worcester Warriors recently.
Head Coach Bryan Redpath acknowledged Qera's qualities when he revealed the news to the club website:
"Q brings real dynamism to our back row. He gets around the park, he carries well and scores plenty of tries."
"He works hard and he's still keen to learn and develop his game. He's settled in well here at Gloucester, is popular with the rest of the squad and he'll bring a lot to the side over the next couple of years."
