Understandably, those players were given some extra time off to recover after the rest of the Gloucester squad reported back for preseason training in early June.
However, everyone is now back in including new signing Jim Hamilton (pictured left) and it's a big couple of weeks for the club with a full week of training and conditioning taking place at Hartpury College before the set up relocates to Portugal for a week of training behind closed doors.
This week has consisted of speed work, weights sessions in the gym, team meetings, hill sprints and even a few skills sessions where the odd rugby ball has been sighted!
It's been tough work especially given the muggy conditions in Gloucestershire at present but the whole squad look fit and healthy and, judging by the banter flying around at the training ground this week, spirits are good ahead of the new season.
