Once that work is completed, which is expected to be in the next few days, Gloucester Rugby will be able to confirm the dates and times of its opening fixtures.
Acutely aware of the fact that only two home matches at Kingsholm prior to the New Year fixture at home to Worcester Warriors kicked off on a Saturday at 3pm, the club has requested, where possible, that its home fixtures are pencilled in for their traditional slot.
Being selected for live broadcast by the two television companies will mean that changes are unavoidable and Gloucester will also seek to avoid clashes with televised England games according to Head of Sales and Marketing, Pete Grzonka.
"Feedback from our supporters is that they prefer their rugby on a Saturday afternoon and we will endeavour, wherever we possibly can, to respect that."
"I would like to reassure our supporters that we have requested a 3pm Saturday kick off whenever we can."
"We obviously have to work with our host broadcasters and fully support and accept that. There are also two England internationals in the Autumn which potentially clash with our home matches."
"To avoid a clash with the internationals, we will therefore seek to move our kick off time back to 4:30pm so our supporters can watch England and then Gloucester in action. Kingsholm will be open and the England game shown on the screens around the stadium."
BSkyB and ESPN are expected to announce which fixtures they will be televising in the next few days and updated fixture lists will be announced following that announcement.
