Forrester, the outlandishly gifted number eight, has made the jump from the Senior National Academy to the full squad.
The Kingsholm pair are joined by team-mates Andy Hazell, James Simpson-Daniel, Mike Tindall and Phil Vickery in the senior squad, while exciting centre prospect Anthony Allen and full-back Olly Morgan are included in the Senior National Academy.
"I want to congratulate players selected to the EPS senior squad for the first," coach Andy Robinson said of the new inclusions.
"Congratulations also for players such as Andy Beattie, Matt Stevens and Olly Barkley from Bath, Louis Deacon and Ollie Smith from Leicester Tigers, James Forrester (Gloucester), Tom Palmer (Leeds Tykes), Tom Voyce (London Wasps),and Chris Jones and Andrew Sheridan both of Sale Sharks. These ten players have moved up from the Senior National Academy last season to the
senior squad.
"These 61 players in the Senior Squad and Senior National Academy will form the backbone of our England hopes and aspirations for the coming season and we are able to add one or two more to the list, to a maximum of 70, depending on form and recovery from injury."
