Commenting on www.gloucesterrugbyclub.com Boer said: "We know what we're capable of, we know it's going to be a hell of a game against Bristol, and we know it's going to be a superb occasion as people have been talking about it for weeks. Take all of this into account, and we will be up there and ready for it."
The 29 year-old back-row man knows that last Sunday's defeat against Stade Francais means the Kingsholm club need to go out and impress against a confident table topping Bristol side.
"Last Sunday was the biggest disappointment we've had for a long time, and we shouldn't need it to kick us into form, but it has given us a point to prove.
"It's been a mixed week with the positives of approaching a cup quarter-final combined with finding answers for last weekend's performance, but we've got to do our job and perform on Saturday."
Boer knows that Bristol will be coming to a 13,000 capacity Kingsholm with nothing to lose, and is well aware of the threat they pose after some convincing victories in national division one.
"Bristol wouldn't be where they are now if they hadn't gone back to their roots and re-built. They'll want to throw everything into it this weekend. We've got to concentrate on our own performance."
