Dean Ryan's team kick off their pre-season fixture list against Leeds Tykes, Castres and Clermont Auvergne in the previously announced Issoire tournament in France on 29 and 31 July.
After two further weeks of preparation Gloucester welcome Italian side Calvisano to Kingsholm on Saturday 13 August (kick off 3pm). The Compass Group Middlesex Sevens event at Twickenham takes place on the same day, and Gloucester will be sending out competitive teams at both events.
Although the Calvisano fixture kicks off on the same day as the Middlesex Sevens, Gloucester will be looking to build on last year's runners-up slot at the Compass Group sponsored event, with the likes of England Sevens captain Simon Amor set to star.
A development fixture against newly promoted Division One side Doncaster at Kingsholm follows the Calvisano clash and will kick off at 7.30pm on Friday 19 August.
Gloucester's final fixtures before the start of the Guinness Premiership are back-to-back games that see another of Italy's top sides Viadana travel to Kingsholm on Friday 26 August (kick off 7.30pm), with a development fixture against Ulster kicking off earlier in the evening at 4pm.
The game against Viadana will be Mark Cornwell's testimonial fixture. The Gloucester second row is celebrating 10 years service at the Kingsholm club in 2005, and the Anglo-Italian and Anglo-Irish clashes offer Cornwell the chance to celebrate a year of fundraising on the pitch.
Commenting on www.gloucesterrugby.co.uk head coach Dean Ryan said: "We've got a good mix of games in pre-season. After the completion of the tournament in France, the focus is very much on the start of the Premiership in early September.
"The two Italian sides offer us competitive fixtures, especially with so many of the Celtic League sides having restrictions on when their international players can return to pre-season games.
"As well as the key first team warm-up games, we've also scheduled in the development games, which will give everyone in the squad an opportunity in the build-up to the new season.
"The Viadana game for Pasty's (Mark Cornwell's) testimonial is a great way to complete the pre-season schedule."
