Commenting ahead of the game director of rugby Philippe Saint Andre said: "Quite simply this is a must win game for both clubs. Both Gloucester and Sale Sharks were well beaten last week and will be keen to put things right on Friday evening. I hope that all the Sale Sharks supporters will turn out in force tomorrow as we aim to get back to winning ways."
Philippe also denied that he had signed Lionel Faure from Pau for next season. The Sharks boss said "Lionel is one of many players we are talking to, but nothing has yet been finalised."
