The application forms were posted to all the current season ticket holders on the 21st May and in less than a fortnight an unprecedented number of returned application forms have come into the ticket office at the Kingsholm club.
An early indication is that many supporters are wishing to upgrade their season tickets to one of the seated areas, in either the main grandstand or the Buildbase Stand. Current season ticket holders in these areas have until the 30 June to renew their seats until they go on general sale.
Season Tickets are limited at Kingsholm as the level of support continues to grow. The separation of the SHED from the other terracing areas, together with the various different tournament rules, mean that Gloucester Rugby must allocate a certain number of tickets to either away fans or tournament sponsors.
In addition, Gloucester Rugby are introducing new access walkways and gangways around the ground which in turn improves everyone's visibility of the match action. The designated children's area and the wheelchair areas at the front of the terracing will remain but a clear walkway around all the terracing areas will be in place for the start of the new season.
The season ticket package for the 2005/06 season includes the 11 Premiership home fixtures and three European home games*.
There is also priority booking for all of the big knockout games, and FREE entry to all of Gloucester's home 'A' League games at Kingsholm.
Additional benefits include the opportunity to take up a half price subscription offer for the official club magazine (four issues throughout the season), a 10 per cent discount voucher for the Club shop, a two-for-one Middlesex Sevens ticket offer, participation in the international ticket draw for all England home games, and the annual season ticket holder's pin badge.
Supporters can also benefit from additional savings with the Club's family season ticket packages in the Buildbase, Shed and Terrace areas.
The Club is installing new software in the ticket office this summer, and season tickets will be available to purchase on-line from mid-June.
The five season ticket categories for the new season are Gold and Silver areas in the main grandstand, the Buildbase Stand, the Shed, and other terracing areas.
