His last Premiership start was back in September against Northampton but he should be fit enough to return to the squad this weekend as Gloucester aim to build on their third place in the Premiership.
"Jake's toe injury has been quite restrictive for him but we hope to have him returning to the squad this weekend," head coach Dean Ryan told www.gloucesterrugby.co.uk.
"If he does that, he would obviously be available for selection. To have any player of Jake's ability around is very important to us, particularly at this stage of the season when we have so many important games coming up."
Centre Terry Fanolua, who made his return against the Falcons on Saturday following a knee injury, has suffered no complications and is once again available for selection.
There was also good news concerning lock Alex Brown. He has been ruled out of England's trio of autumn internationals because of a neck injury but he has been able to return to non-contact training at Hartpury College.
