Nine of Gloucester's 16 home fixtures sold out last season and the season ticket is the only way to guarantee a place at Kingsholm for the forthcoming Premiership season.
For the first time, the fixture list will include three local derby matches against Worcester, Bristol Shoguns and Bath, as well as the annual big clashes against Leicester Tigers, London Wasps and Jonny Wilkinson's Newcastle.
The season ticket package for the 2005/06 season includes the 11 Premiership home fixtures and three European home games*.
There is also priority booking for all of the big knockout games, and FREE entry to all of Gloucester's home 'A' League games at Kingsholm.
Additional benefits include the opportunity to take up a half price subscription offer for the official club magazine (four issues throughout the season), a 10 per cent discount voucher for the Club shop, a two-for-one Middlesex Sevens ticket offer, participation in the international ticket draw for all England home games, and the annual season ticket holder's pin badge.
Supporters can also benefit from additional savings with the Club's family season ticket packages in the Buildbase, Shed and Terrace areas.
The 7,200 season ticket holders from the 2004/05 campaign will be sent information through the post (from Saturday 21 May onwards). Supporters are asked to complete the application forms and return them by post, or call 0871 871 8781 for more application forms and to purchase.
The Club is installing new software in the ticket office this summer, and season tickets will be available to purchase on-line from mid-June.
The five season ticket categories for the new season are Gold and Silver areas in the main grandstand, the Buildbase Stand, the Shed, and other terracing areas.
Season Ticket Areas:
GOLD (Grandstand) - These are the best seats in the stadium. They are based on the half-way line within the main grandstand. All seats are named and padded for extra comfort.
SILVER (Grandstand) - These are also located in the main grandstand and offer a pitch-side view. These seats are positioned either side of the Gold category.
BUILDBASE - The Buildbase Stand, which opened in 2004, provides covered seating behind the posts with new bar, toilet, food and shop facilities.
The SHED - The Club has separated the Shed terracing from the other terracing areas around the ground. There will be new walkways in front of the Shed, and access will be improved. It is anticipated that the old gym building will be converted into a new Shed bar.
TERRACING - A new clear walkway is being introduced at the front, providing improved access to uncovered standing areas behind the posts (at the hospitality box end) and along the south side of the pitch (in front of the main grandstand).
An Associate Supporters membership package is also available, and is targeted at supporters who are unable to get to all of the home games, but still want an association with Gloucester Rugby. All the season ticket benefits are included, apart from the entry into the 14 games.
Additional information:
- For all family season ticket categories, supporters are asked to complete application forms for each individual, and attach them together.
- Supporters purchasing new season tickets (not renewing) who want to sit next to each other are also requested to attach forms together.
- Supporters, who are registered disabled, can contact the Club directly for details of their tickets.
- All junior categories are for children aged 15 or under on 31 August.
- To claim a concessionary or junior ticket, the purchaser must provide evidence of status. Students must be in full-time education and OAPs should provide evidence of their state pension.
- Existing season ticket holders aged 75 or over are entitled to a concession terracing season ticket at £50.
- Current season ticket holders, who are in either Gold, Silver or Buildbase categories have priority of application until 30 June 2005.
- All ticket categories are limited in number.
*Three European home games are subject to the format of the European Challenge Cup, which is currently a knock-out format.
