The players will then have their own personal preparation time before meeting on Sunday, July 29th to prepare for the Investec Challenge warm up games against Wales at Twickenham on August 4th and France at home on August 11th. England complete their warm up games against France in Marseille on August 18th.
Brian Ashton said "It's been a very difficult decision to let the six players go. They have all worked hard in training and it's been good working with them.
"I've taken the decision to reduce the squad now because I've had a good look at everybody in the training camp and it's important that we spend more time giving consideration to those who will make the 22 for the first of our warm up games against Wales on August 4th, France on the 11th and the 30 man RWC squad to be announced on August 14th.
"I am considering a further cut of players at the end of next week's training but at this stage I'm not going to comment on who or how many as I haven't made those decisions yet."
The England players who have been stood down from the RWC training squad are:
BACKS: Shane Geraghty (London Irish), Olly Morgan (Gloucester Rugby), Fraser Waters (London Wasps)
FORWARDS: Louis Deacon (Leicester Tigers), Andy Hazell (Gloucester Rugby), Magnus Lund (Sale Sharks)
