The final took place during half-time of Gloucester's match against Worcester and in front 12,500 Kingsholm crowd, Churchdown Village Junior School came up against Gretton Primary for the chance to visit Twickenham to compete in the national finals.
The match was keenly contested with Churchdown scoring early on with some sensational handling skills before the Gretton leveled the scores with a after a slick move that involved the entire team. Both teams fought hard for possession with defences giving very little territorial advantage away.

However, the match was settled as extra timed beckoned when Churchdown managed to get the ball to the wing, who then sniped through the Gretton line, to score in the dying seconds.
