Harewood, Kingsholm, Moat, Meadowside, Fieldcourt and Calton Primary schools took part in a festival held on Saturday, 15th December. The finalists then took to the field at Kingsholm at half time to do battle for the Gloucester region championship. The final was contested between Meadowside and Moat.
The participants were watched by nearly 15,000 spectators with Gloucester Rugby and Scotland player Chris Paterson lending his support. The final was a tense affair with Moat coming out on top.
The participants had a fantastic day and had really enjoyed the coaching from Gloucester Rugby. They also enjoyed the game with many of them new to the game let alone Kingsholm.
