Part of the squad that won the Powergen Cup in 2003 he went on to captain the side and win the European Challenge Cup in 2006. Sadly a broken arm put him on the sidelines during the LV= Cup final win earlier this year.
Back at the top of his game and a regular first XV player, Bucko is renowned for his hard work rate and fierce tackling and is one of the most popular players among the loyal fan base.
Bucko's Celebration Year really kicks off in 2012 with a series of events that will suit all rugby fan's tastes: including a Fashion Show in February, Pie and a Pint and Corporate Hospitality days at the Cheltenham Racing Festival in March, a Family Rugby Fun Day in April and a Gala Dinner in May, to name but a few.
Said Pete:
"I am glad that the events are designed to reach the masses and appeal to all my friends and fans, where we can have some fun, and I am proud to choose Winston's Wish and Wooden Spoon as the 2 benefitting charities."
