Gloucester possess a fine home record and Redpath acknowledges that possibly shattering that home record motivates any opponent.
"Anyone that comes here has a great incentive to beat us. We have to make sure that our focus and passion are massively driven in the right way."
"They've got a good squad which has played a lot together over the Six Nations. Maybe on some occasions they didn't perform as well as they would have liked but, on some occasions, they were definitely unlucky."
"They'll be desperate to do well and they've got a very strong bench which will be a challenge when they do come on."
"But we've just got to get on with it and understand what this game is."
Redpath's side achieved a memorable 41-41 draw at Welford Road against the Leicester Tigers on Saturday, a result the Scot admitted he was happy with but still left the squad things to work on.
"There were a lot of good things and bad things that came out of the weekend and we'll look at them and if we do that properly then we'll give ourselves a chance."
"We were disappointed with a couple of the scores and got caught a little bit narrow on certain occasions when we got over excited around the contact area."
"The challenge is getting the balance right. If you do that then you can compete with anyone."
"But I'm delighted with the effort at the weekend when we kept going up to the 80thminute when we got the try."
Focussing on Northampton, Jim Mallinder's side travelled to Newcastle on Friday evening and returned home with the points.
Following the game at Kingsholm, they are also on their travels on Saturday when they take on London Irish. Mallinder is having to rotate his squad but that's not something Gloucester can get too hung up on according to Redpath.
"They've obviously got London Irish at the weekend and they'll be desperate to get something out of the week."
"So, we have to be aware of that and cannot underestimate whatever team they pick because we made changes on Saturday and the boys who came in performed pretty well."
"You can't ever get carried away with whoever is or isn't selected. It is about us and defensively we have to be a lot tighter and stronger. And, if we are, then great, we can really push on."
"If we get the shape and the build right then the collisions and the emotional drivers must be there anyway."
