Toulouse, as a tier 1 side, were the first side drawn in pool 6. Once Saracens were drawn in pool 5, Gloucester were destined to face an English side in the pool stages and it turned out to be Harlequins.
The final team drawn in pool 6 are Heineken Cup newcomers Connacht.
