Scott started at hooker and scored two tries before making way for Andrew Kelly on 66 minutes.
Rory was named amongst the replacements with Chris Cusiter starting at scrum half but entered the fray on 61 minutes.
Coach Andy Robinson declared himself reasonably happy after the game:
"I was pleased with the application and attitude shown by the players, but there are still lots to work on."
"There were some good line breaks and support play and overall we want to develop that feel in our game."
"We wanted to keep the ball moving; that is the way we want to play and that is the way I can see our game developing."
Scotland A are next in action against Uruguay on Tuesday afternoon with Rory Lawson handed the captaincy and Scott on the bench.
