A number of the Gloucester players are also keen to be involved and, depending on their rugby commitments, will take part in the event so why not join in and make a difference?
Olly Morgan, pictured with the community team and sponsors Mitchells Cycles, said, "We want to set the record for the highest number of fans taking part and it would be great to see lots of people leaving from Kingsholm on their bikes to raise as much money as we possibly can, so I hope the fact that the club and players are really behind this initiative will motivate our fans to get on their bikes for a fantastic charity."
Anyone that would like to sign up for the bike ride can log on to www.spoonchallenges.com or, if you cannot join the team on the day then you can sponsor them by donating via their just giving website www.justgiving.com/gloucesterrugby . Alternatively please contact the Community Team on 01452 872286 for further details.
