The game was effectively lost in the first quarter when Gloucester conceded 26 points to leave them chasing the game.
However, heads never dropped and the whole team defended with spirit for the rest of the match to keep Bath at bay.
Highlight of the evening was a try from Jonny May from 50 metres whilst fly half Mike Wilcox kicked the rest of the Gloucester points.
Semi Tadulala got his first game of union for Gloucester under his belt and Jack Hayes deserves credit for a young 18 year old playing at this level for the first time.
The overall display was a big improvement on previous A League outings this season but the win remains elusive and losing to Bath, at any level, never goes down well at Kingsholm!
