Over the last few seasons we have run social leagues and competitive leagues so why not get involved today?
Dave Barley, Community Development Officer, said,
"This summer our touch leagues will be structured so that teams will be competing for promotion and relegation. We will be starting off with a taster week which will allow new and old teams to get used to the laws.
"Teams will then compete in a league of 4 which will allow opportunities for teams to be either promoted into a league above or relegated to the league below. This we hope will provide more competition and a level playing field for teams of all abilities."
The league will run throughout the summer taking place every Wednesday evening at Sir Thomas Rich's School and will lead to a finals evening which will be played at Kingsholm Stadium on the 22nd August.
"We are looking to recruit teams of 10 players, teams can be mixed but everyone must be over the age of 16. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or have some experience. We will seed teams and put them into leagues of similar ability."
The cost to enter the Gloucester Rugby Summer Touch Leagues is £300 per team.
Teams will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of £150 that is due to be paid on or before the taster evening.
